Hans Jennerjahnis an experienced Physician Assistant with a strong background in healthcare. Hans' extensive career spans several healthcare institutions and specialties. He has been working as a Physician Assistant at Roosevelt Cardiovascular Diagnostic in Jackson Heights, NY. In this part-time role, he provides outpatient cardiovascular care and collaborates with an off-site MD. Hans served as a Senior Physician Assistant at New York Presbyterian Queens in the Ambulatory Care Department. During his tenure, the hospital and department underwent name changes, and he held the senior PA status from 2000 onwards.
Hans also provided primary medical care to adults with various disabilities at the Center for Developmental Disabilities. In this part-time role, he worked alongside an on-site MD. Hans also worked at New York Hospital Queens Care for the Homeless. Before his emergency medicine roles, Hans worked in various healthcare settings, including a methadone clinic, an inner city clinic, and the Rikers Island medical service.
Hans pursued his education at Touro College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Training Health Sciences. He was a co-representative of his class. He also holds a Master of Arts in Community Health Education from Adelphi University. During his time at Adelphi, he was a member of Eta Sigma Gamma. Hans earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Adelphi University, graduating summa cum laude.
Throughout his career, Hans has received recognition for his contributions to healthcare. In 2001, he received the Wholeness of Life Award from the New York City Chaplaincy. In 1999, he was honored with the Health Care Advocacy Award from HANYS (Healthcare Association of New York State).
